Jie-Wei Zhou was born and educated in China. Having studied Russian and French Impressionism, Jie-Wei developed a high level of skill and a superb sense of color. The subjects of his realistic European style include: impressions of China; portraits of tribal people from Mongolia, Tibet, and China; still life work; and family portraits.
