Artist Statement
Jorge Alberto is a gifted, multifaceted artist with a strong passion for realism. His paintings represent a rich culmination of classical influences resulting from his studies of both Renaissance and Baroque styles. A strong sense of mystery and drama is at once apparent in his paintings. A great admirer of Caravaggio, Mr. Alberto can skillfully emulate the strong use of lighting contrast found in this master's work.
