Bursting onto the art scene with near sell-out shows across the country, Lindsay Goodwin is catching the eye of collectors everywhere who are snapping up her works as soon as they become available. Making her Scottsdale debut at the Willow Gallery, Lindsay's work offers a fresh perspective on historic architecture. From the grand salons in Paris and the castles of Scotland to the plantations of Mississippi, Lindsay travels all over Europe and the United States capturing the light of inspiration with her alla prima brushwork. Recently hand-selected as one of Southwest Art's "21 Under 31", which features the elite of the new generation of artists, Lindsay's work is consistently featured in magazines such as Southwest Art, Plein Air, and American Art Collector.

Lindsay Goodwin began her career by teaching classical oil painting and charcoal drawing to children at O'Neill's Fine Arts in her hometown of Malibu, California. There, Lindsay received the invaluable skills and mentorship from fine artist Katie O'Neill that truly began to mould her artistic talent. Her talent blossomed further still as she gleaned insight at the Academy of Art University from such influential fine artists as Craig Nelson, Carolyn Meyer and Laurie Kersey. Upon graduating with her Bachelor's degree, Lindsay was chosen as one of the top 15 fine artists at the Academy of Art University whereupon her work began winning awards and appearing on national advertisements in print and television. Soon whispers about this young artist grew to clamoring from collectors, galleries and publishers. From there her work began to climb higher and higher into the realm of distinguished artists, a distinction well beyond her 23 years. At her young age she has lived in Paris while painting its magnificent architecture and sumptuous interiors, studied first hand the works of the masters in museums across Europe, and given a number of one-woman shows in galleries from coast to coast to the highest praise of audiences and art critics alike. one can only guess to what great heights her work will ascend in the short years to come.
