Jeffrey Terreson was born in Bronxville, NY, and raised in Bedford/Mt. KIsco, NY. At an early age, Terreson had the pleasure of knowing what he was going to do. From kindergarten Jefferey was the school artist. In secondary schooling; it was clear that art would be his life. His Dad was his inspiration.

Art instructors, Mr. & Mrs. Witherspoon, were his early mentors. Jeffrey Terreson excelled at art thanks to them. He earned a four-year Merit Scholarship to the Columbus College of Art and Design, where he rose to the top of his classes. He found new inspiration in his new teachers and mentors: Ron Tardino, Robert Bruss, and Dennis Drummond. Jeffrey says, "Dennis was so important. I do not know if he has any idea what he meant to me." In 1977, Terreson had the opportunity to attend a workshop/internship with several top artists in America including Robert Heindel and Mark English. Heindel�s paintings became the source of tremendous optimism in Terreson�s career.

That experience focused Terreson�s goal. Upon graduation he returned to New York City to begin a career as an artist. For years, Terreson painted and supported himself through his fine art illustration. His artwork was published for many Fortune 500 companies and appeared in nationally recognized periodicals such as Time, Newsweek, TV Guide, Readers Digest and many more. After a great deal of success in the New York art scene, in 1996 Terreson decided it was time to raise his four children and take his art in a new direction His fine art status is placing him in the countries top galleries.

Jefferey currently works in a Neo-Impressionistic painting style that embraces the textures of both digital and traditional media. Hard lines, softer colors placed with out restriction from what he was taught. Terreson continues to steadily produce pieces, based on his original roots as a painter, while exploring and integrating elements of mixed media.
