 Born 1961 in Moscow, where He still lives. Studied Art/Handicraft Institute in Moscow, specializing in painting; and later at the College of Education in Moscow, concentrating on painting, graphics and design. Member of the Union of Professional Artist since 1991. By mid-eighties His preferences where becoming clear ,-impressionism and romantic realism . The colorful streets of Arbat ( the Moscow equivalent of Monmartre in Paris) fascinated him squally with the wider expanses of the Russian landscape at all seasons , and with oils, water-colours and graphics of these subject he build up quickly reputation in Moscow and beyond. He has applied with equal success these subject preferences and technigues during his travels outside Russia . He also draws and paints portraits. Dmitry has exhibited regulariy since 1988, work alone and in company with other Russians artist-see on reverse.
